Swiss Reflex
Treatment
Swiss reflex treatment, devised by Shirley Price is a
form of Reflexology using the feet as a map of the whole body. Often
the consultation can be done during this process enabling a more detailed
reading of the clients needs.
In modern western medicine there are nine bodily systems, for example
lymphatic and circulatory. In other parts of the world there exist other
systems not easily proven; these include the meridian and the zones system,
which reflexology is based. I have found this method an accurate assessment,
and very relaxing for the client.
Sometimes a body massage isn’t possible or the client does not
wish to undress. This is an excellent addition or alternative. After
the assessment a foot massage using the appropriate essential oils can
be given, and follow up treatment by the client themselves using the
same mix in between treatments is possible.
